an abstract reality

this series examines the contrast between built form and the way it translates into other art forms—specifically, the way that three-dimensional space becomes flattened and in some cases abstracted in two-dimensional media. these photographs are in one way a traditional interpretation of the buildings they capture, but when mirrored the result is a series of improbable architectural objects and spaces.
